Abstract
We believe that the Central powers should not have to pay any money to the Allied powers, however they will as a result of losing the war, lose land to their neighbors, and they will also lose their rights to unrestricted military actions. Their military and technology should be closed watched by other countries to ensure that they are not planning anything.
What was the honduras during 1919?
The social aspect for the Honduras is very complicated. The Honduras are on and off with their neighboring territories, they have been under partial United States rule, because the United States has been sporadically sending American troops for 16 years, ever since 1903 when they first sent in troops. The United States has been “helping” us with disputes in the Banana Wars. We do not have very good relations with the surrounding countries in our area, and mostly are feuding with at least one of them on a constant basis. Our politics are very screwed up, as our government has been switching abruptly between the rule of two different politicians/previous rulers. The politics are very dirty, and the majority of the time end up in lives lost. This causes us to rely almost completely on the United States, and also causes the United States to occupy our country and make us feel as if we are under their rule. This is especially true because they are our main trading customers for bananas. The economics in the Honduras are doing very well, as we are selling bananas to lots of countries and territories everywhere, and making lots of money off of it. We are so famed for selling bananas that we have been called the “Banana Republic." On a separate topic, demographic was recently gained, and we are not aiming to lose it anytime soon. We are fiercely defending it, and our people are also very isolated as a result of a defense mechanism learned overtime from constant riff raff and race discrimination with our bordering races.
Looking into the future of honduras

Looking ahead into the future of the Honduras we find what happened during the time periods of 1919-1939.
Did the country join the League of Nations, if so when? The Honduras were part of the original members of the League of Nations, in January 10, 1920. They resigned in July 10, 1936 (after Nicaragua complained about the treatment of its citizens in the Honduras.
Did the country have a stable government and society from 1919-1929? The Honduras at the time were under a sort of control by the United States, who continued to send in it’s American Troops and police the actions of the participants in the Banana Wars. The last time that the U.S. physically sent troops into the Honduras during this time period was during 1925. Afterwards they simply chose to control from afar, and watch from afar what became of the country.
How badly did the worldwide Depression of 1929-1939 affect the country? During the Great Depression Tiburcio Carias Andino was in charge of Honduras until 1948 when there was a strike initiated by the banana workers. The banana workers were young military reformists who would go on to reassemble the constituent assembly elections. The economic situation remained extremely bad throughout the 1930s. A dramatic drop in banana exports was caused by the Great Depression, the fruit industry was further threatened by the outbreak in 1935 of epidemics of Panama disease and Sigatoka in the banana-producing areas. “Within a year, most of the country's production was threatened. Large areas, including most of those around Trujillo, Honduras were abandoned, and thousands of Hondurans were thrown out of work” (The Honduras). By 1937 a way to control the disease had been found, but many of the affected areas remained out of production because a significant share of the market formerly held by Honduras had shifted to other nations. Throughout all of this, the president still managed to make payments towards debts and keep the country fairly in shape.
With whom did the country ally itself in World War II?
Honduras was initially neutral in the war but joined the Allied side after the attack on Pearl Harbor. It declared war on Japan on 8 December 1941, and on Germany and Italy five days later. It contributed food and raw materials to the Allied war effort but did not send troops.
Honduras was part of the Allied Powers.

Treaty Questions:
Should any European territory of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, or the former Ottoman Empire be transferred to any other country?
I voted yes on this because I believe that Bulgaria should be able to give Czechoslovakia its land back, especially considering the majority of the land given back would be under the rule of people of their race. Also I believe that Austria-Hungary should be split into two because of it's actions in the war. This will make it more difficult for them to reunite against the Allied powers, and solve issues of politics that are currently going on in Austria-Hungary. Prussia should give back all of the territory that it had gained during 1871, because it was not rightfully taken. Italy's territories should be left alone, the borderlines are fine as they are. Any land including overseas lands taken over by Germany should be freed from control completely and allowed to become self-governing.
Should any European territory of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, or the former Ottoman Empire be used to create any new country or countries?
Romania, Serbia, and Montenegro should all be evacuated, and the territories should be restored to their former owners. The Balkan states should be unified. Polish state should be created that includes all Polish territories.
Germany should lose lots of it’s land to its neighboring countries as a punishment, and Bulgaria must let the Czechoslovakians rule their rightful ethnic group and territory in their own country. Ottoman Empire should return to neighboring countries.
Should any overseas territory of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, or the former Ottoman Empire be transferred to any other country?
I voted no on this because I would like any overseas territories that Germany has taken over to be freed and allowed to govern themselves, as a foreign government official from Japan (who had offered to) would be damaging to the local life, culture, and be rejected by the native citizens. They should be allowed to self govern with outward and indirect assistance, only if necessary or asked for.
What should the new boundary lines for any changes in Europe (provide a map with new national borders to represent the changes suggested)?
The map was drawn out on paper, I do not have a copy or picture to add, but the major change was that Bulgaria was sectioned off to Czechoslovakia. Austria-Hungary was split into two countries, Austria to the left and Hungary to the right.
Should heavy industry (capable of producing military equipment) be limited in the former Central Powers?
Heavy Industry should not be limited in all countries, but limited especially in the Central Powers because they have demonstrated their inability to function correctly, and they should not be allowed to have military power or defenses of any kind, let alone unrestricted military power. If a problem arises with rebellion against their government officials we will be willing to step in.
Should all trade and tariff barriers be eliminated? If so, to what extent?
All trade and tariff barriers should be eliminated completely, and we will function with free trade throughout the world, preventing lots of race prejudice and allowing more items to be bought with the money that would have been spent on needless taxes.
Should reparations be paid by the former Central Powers to the victimized Allies? If so, how much and how long should the former Central Powers have to pay these reparations?
The Central Powers should not have to give up any money, they must only give up military rights and land. They are already damaged with no military, a poor economy, and losing their overseas territories.
Should the former Central Powers be allowed any military capability?
The Central Powers will have a no military capability whatsoever, including defensive mechanisms, because defensive mechanisms can easily be turned into offensive weapons, that the Central Powers will surely use for revenge on it's conquerors.
Should all nations have freedom of the seas?
All of the nations will have free reign throughout the seas, unthreatened and untaxed. No one will be able to claim part of the sea.
Should there be world wide disarmament (no standing armies, no offensive weapons, no future production of weapons of war)?
There should not be disarmament, because we cannot trust the former Central Powers, therefore they should be limited, however other countries that either fought on the Allied side or remained neutral throughout the war should be able to continue with their military advancements as they wish.
Should there be a world wide supervisory body to enforce terms of this treaty and to serve as a permanent peace keeping body? If so, how should it be structured?
There should be a world wide supervisory body, and we should have two representatives from each country go there. Each country will have the same amount of voting power, and the representatives will have two year terms, re elected only three times maximum. The representatives from each country will meet three times a week for debate.
Note: The U.S. government has been involved with disputes, insurrections, and revolutions throughout the area where we live in. American Troops have been with us sporadically in 1903, 1907, 1911, 1912, 1919, 1924 and 1925.
